In her classes Mazarine creates a space where learning and sharing will be a space to explore, visualize, experiment and learn. It is an atmosphere where there is a fun celebration of colors on all levels. Students are encouraged to get a picture of their choice ~ browse the web, scan books and images search for what catches their eye. Build a visual in their mind and Mazarine will guide them with the techniques. The class time will slowly broaden the student’s imagination, and cultivate their sense of visualization until they gradually start to create original work of their own.

Open to adults and children, you will learn:

• Basic understanding of color
• Knowing different mediums
• Play of light & dark, shadows
• Mixing & deriving other colors
• Using art material effectively
• Learning to work with different textures
• Applying different techniques while using regular tools & painting materials

Class take place on Tuesdays 4-6pm (age 5-14yrs) and 7-9pm (Adults). Class fee excludes art materials.

The Creative Art Workshop for Children is a unique art experience that introduces children to the world of Art and opens their eyes to the environment around them and increases their visual awareness. Children from a very young age will explore their creative abilities and they will develop confidence in their abilities to express ideas imaginatively. In her workshop, Bernadett Shonibare provides many different, interesting even unusual materials for the children to work with and encourages them to try new and exciting art and craft techniques. Class schedule: Mondays 4-5pm (age 3-6yrs) & 5:30-6:30pm (age 7-9yrs). Saturdays 10-11am (age 3-6yrs) & 11:15am-12:15pm (age 7-9yrs)

WOW Creations offers jewellery-making workshops using a precious metal clay called Art Clay which is 99.9% pure fine silver. The clay consists of three elements: pure silver powder, a non-toxic binder and water.  During the workshop, you will design your peice, dry it completely and then using a common household butane torch, fire it at a high temperature.  This is when the magic happens…the high temperature burns the binder away, leaving pure silver.  For more information on Art Clay, visit www.artclay.co.jp/htm/about.

A beginners class of 3 hours will teach you the basic steps of rolling, texturing, cutting, drying, sanding, firing and finishing your piece to make beautiful unique jewellery. Make it in our morning workshop and leave wearing your own handmade jewellery the same day. You can personalize your jewellery by stamping special names, dates, or textures onto it. You will be guided through the step by step process by our Art Clay Certified Instructor, Lisle, who has been teaching Art Clay workshops in Dubai for 2 years.  She currently sells her own jewellery at the Arte Market at Time Square every 2nd Friday of the month.

During the creative expression workshop we will be celebrating and accessing the already perfect wisdom of our bodies. By using spontaneous movement and art as a means to explore our body’s deeper awareness, we will dive into pure creative wisdom and access many insights about ourselves. The exercises will be guided but not dictated, encouraging everyone to let themselves be their own teachers and healers. This is also a perfect opportunity to connect with each others and celebrate our journeys together!

The workshop will consist of meditative dance, spontaneous painting, energy play, journaling & sharing.

During this Art as healing workshop, we will be re-connecting with our tribal routes by playing and experimenting with the very earthy element of clay. Using clay as an art material allows us to really dive into total sensory exploration. Our creations will be shared, passed on and allowed to evolve within the group – through this, we will explore trust, energy and beauty of the tribe. The purpose of the workshop is to explore our ability trust and let go, to be fully in the moment of creation, and enjoy the many rewards of being part of a connected community. This a great opportunity to re-connect with the boundless creative source that drives us all, and it is also a lot of fun!

Meditative Dancing explores the inherent intelligent vibes in music which subtly penetrate the human consciousness. These natural movements work by unlocking the notes and keys of the physical body, liberating the emotional mental and etheric body and enabling it to travel into the metaphysical realms. It is a natural journey down the depth of consciousness, into the awareness of the body & soul.

During this workshop you will be guided into experiencing and listening to the music through your body. This process will bring you closer to your true essence. As you progress through the stages, you will experience a form of release and transformation, sensing at the end of it a feeling of inner-integration and universal harmony. You do not need to know how to dance, but at the end of it, you would have danced to the rhythm of your own beat.

There is a little child inside of you that doesn’t care about what anyone thinks. All he/she wants to do is paint what he/she likes, how he/she likes, and when he/she likes. Maybe this is the true jewel of it all. Our adultness has made it harder for us to really be who we authentically are. Let’s try and remember to be children again, in our hearts, with a fearlessness for life. Creative expression allows you to go there, it gives you a safe place to play that way again and to blow away some cobwebs sometimes too.

During this creative expression workshop we will be exploring and bringing to life our chakras using paint, paper, and pure creative energy. Paint with your non-dominant hand to tap into your subconscious mind potential. The exercises will be guided but not dictated, encouraging everyone to let themselves be their own teachers and healers. The purpose of the workshop is to help us identify, experience, and/or heal our chakras and energy bodies. Body mapping is a powerful creative expression tool, which provides profound personal insights without fear of judgment. A great opportunity to re-connect with the boundless creative source that drives us all, it is also a lot of fun!

A vision board is a framework for the process of creating your life. Energy follows thought. Thought is Creative. By creating a vision board, you are one step closer to manifesting your dreams in reality. The purpose of a vision board is to activate the law of attraction to begin to pull things from your external environment that will enable you to realize your dream. By selecting the pictures and writing that charges your emotions with feelings of passion, you will begin to manifest those things into your life. Not only will you have fun while creating your vision board, but you will be physically co-creating with the Universe!
