Trans-generational Healing Workshop

Resolve the karmic baggage you are carrying from generations above you! “This workshop pertains to healing Pitru-dosh or Pitru-karma, the karmic baggage that might have been passed on to us by virtue of being born into our family. This is an ancient concept and belief that has been in existence from the very beginning of the Indian culture. But, as with everything else, it has been designed and given shape as a therapeutic tool by the western world.

Through this form of healing, we are able to identify and resolve those issues that we might be carrying and having to deal with simply because we have been born into a certain family. By going through this healing process, that stream of energy that comes from the family into our life will be addressed and all blockages arising out of it can be healed.”

Trans-generational healing is a blend of psychotherapeutic process, energy work and soul work – an intense and powerful healing process that has been proven to alleviate many difficulties and challenges. The concept of trans-generational healing works on the understanding that just as an individual soul journeys through the earth dimension gathering experience, learning and growing and in that process collects ‘karmic baggage,’ there is a collective consciousness or a ‘family soul’ which operates as an entity and goes through its own journey with its own karmic consequences.

PRINCIPLES OF TRANS-GENERATIONAL HEALING

• on a subconscious and energetic level, we are not individuals living in isolation, we belong to family groups, and whatever our ancestors experienced is transferred to us through the collective family Soul to which we belong.
• a large part of the emotions and disruptive life patterns we are dealing with originate from our family system rather than from direct personal experience.
• heavy burdens of guilt, pain and trauma are carried by the entire family Soul and passed down from one generation to the next when the concerned issues have not been dealt with and resolved with the people concerned.
• complex issues of hidden loyalties within the family system can cause us to hold on to experiences of pain and trauma which in fact do not belong to us at all.
• it is the Soul’s demand for balance that creates the repetition of history.

Some events of significance that often have impact on a family system include:

• the early death of parents or grandparents
• miscarriages, stillbirths and abortions
• murders, tragic and accidental deaths
• sudden loss of partner/spouse
• adoptions
• broken engagements and divorce
• war experiences
• victims and perpetrators of crime and injustice
• family secrets
• individuals who have been forced out of a family or disowned

OBJECTIVES DURING HEALING

The Soul seeks to include everything as equal, actually demands it. We do so by giving a place in our heart to both the victims and perpetrators and seeing all as equal. When we engage in soul work, we seek to move beyond blame and honor both the guilty and innocent at the deepest level.

When an individual wishes to work on a relationship issue as a theme in their life or an illness or any other challenging issue, we seek to look at entanglements within a family system that may be at the root of disruptive life pattern. An entanglement is identified when an individual is “tied up” in the fate or business of another. A healing is brought about by making a place for the victim and the perpetrator in our life or the life of the ancestor with whom our life is entangled. Balance is thus restored in the family energy by giving them both equal status and by considering them both to be equally involved in learning the lessons of life.

METHODOLOGY

Trans-generational healing is conducted by a unique method wherein a healing space is created, also known as the domain of Consciousness. During the healing sessions, the participant will be invited to set up his/her Family Constellation within that healing space. Thereafter, the energy entanglements between that person and the members of his/her family, including their ancestors, which are at the root of the issue under consideration, will be identified. Healing will involve the disentanglement of the energy chords and liberation from pain and traume.
