What is Numerology?

It is a science of studying numbers based on classical physics. Each letter of the name of an individual bears a cosmic value or vibration. Numerological calculations tell us whether the vibrations of the name number and the total are good or bad for us! A number of aptitudes, characteristics, behavior, desires, personality and the likes are expressed through Numerology.

 

Why should we use numerology?



The day we are born our birth date number rules on us and give us all positive vibrations. The day we get a name we start getting another vibration. What kinds of astrological readings does Miyan offer?
Miyan specializes in traditional/classical Natal, Horary and Electional Readings according to the Western Renaissance or Medieval Astrology and Eastern Vedic Hindu Astrology.  Natal Astrology is the Astrology of people, i.e. looking at the chart of a person born at a specific time, place and date of birth and predicting the events of her/his life.  Horary astrology is the Astrology of Questiond or Queries, so the person asks a question and the astrologers casts a chart at the time of question and the answer is derived from the chart.  Electional Readings is suggesting the best time for launching or starting specific projects or events, such as the launch of a product, signing of an agreement, getting married, entering a house and so on.

So, if you want to ask about what will happen in your life, then Natal Astrology (if you know your date, time and place of birth) or Horary Astrology can provide an answer.  If you want to ask when you should do a thing then Electional Astrology is the option to take. 

Miyan also provides astrological remedies that can mitigate and allevate any weaknesses or problems in the chart.

Why do I practice Traditional or Classical Astrology?
I practice the techniques of Traditional Astrology of the West and the East because they provide the querent (the client) with specific, concrete and precise predictions of future events.

What is Horary Astrology?
Horary Astrology is an ancient astrological technique that does not require any birth information.  The astrologer simply casts a chart for the time the question was asked, and the chart gives you a very specific and focused answer to a wide variety of questions, and almost any question can be answered in Horary Astrology reading, examples include:  where is the item that is hidden or misplaced?  Are the rumors true or false?  Will I buy or sell the house?  Will I have children?  Am I pregnant?  What is the cause and the outcome of my illness?  Will I get the job?  When will I find my soul mate?  When will I get married?  Where is this relationship heading?  When will I get married?  Will I pass the test or exam?  Will I get paid?  Is he a good person to go into business with? 

How to ask a Horary Question?
In order to get an accurate reading you need to ask a question that can be answered by a yes or a no, however you will get lots of information in the analysis.  Ask what you most want to know, and you may ask related question, for example “Will I sell the house and when?”.  It is best not to ask two unrelated questions at the same time, for example “Will I get the job and when will I marry X?”.  These are two separate questions that need to be asked at two separate times.

If you have more than one question, ask the most important and pressing one and then wait at least for a few days then ask the following question.  The best time to ask a question is when you are most worried about it strongly and wish to know the answer.  Because Horary Questions’ accuracy is related to the time the question came up in your mind, and because consultations’ appointments are restricted by availability of the astrologer and consultation room, please note down the date and time of when you thought of the question and decided to book an appointment for it.

At the time of booking please specify your question, date and time of the question.  This will allow me to provide you with a written analysis for your question explaining all the astrological factors used and the likely outcome of the situation.  I provide the astrological factors in order to be transparent in how I arrived at my final analysis and the possible outcome of the situation, and plus you will not have to take notes!!  The analysis will also include the astrological chart cast at the time of the question.  In the session I will explain to you face to face the answer(s) to your question(s).

What is Natal Astrology?
Natal Astrology looks at birth chart, or the chart of a person born at a specific date, time and place of birth.  It gives a broader and less focused predictions than Horary Astrology.  A Full Natal Analysis gives you a complete analysis of your birth chart using Western Traditional Astrology or Vedic Astrology, analyzing the different patterns and cycles operating in your life.  The Full Natal Reading looks at your temperament, income and profit, career, children, health, relationships, romance, friends, spirituality, secret enemies, curses, open enemies, property, and much more.  All natal readings analyze your unique birth chart and recommend appropriate remedies for the weaknesses if any. 

To do your Natal Chart I will need your date of birth, place if birth and time of birth.  Please provide these at least 1 week in advance if you wish to have a written analysis of your chart with the prescribed remedies.  I will always provide you with a print out of your chart whether you book in advance or not.  In the session I will talk in detail about the different areas of your life, and answer any questions.

What is Electional Astrology?
Electional Astrology is the use of astrology to find the most auspicious time to take action, for instance entering a new house, signing a contract or getting married. 

Please provide us with the details of the event upon booking to allow us to choose the best time possible prior to the session.  In the session I will provide you with at least one auspicious time and will explain the astrological factors I based my electional analysis upon.  I will also provide you with the astrological charts of the chosen times and a summary of why I chose this time.

Learn how to find out the horoscope of a person through astrological face analysis. This workshop will teach you how to note specific facial features of the different signs, and how these reflect the different personality traits of each sign. At the end of lecture you will be able to tell the horoscope of a person at a glance.

You will be able to:

• tell the horoscope of a person at a glance
• correctly guess the predominant signs in a person’s horoscope by looking at her/his face
• understand thoroughly the psychological traits of each sign
• analyze how these psychological traits are usually reflected on the face of the person.

You will learn how each of these (quality, element, species) manifest on the face of the native, and what psychological traits these reflect. You will also learn about the astrological glyphs, or symbols of the signs, and how these manifest as clear and evident celestial birth marks on the faces of the natives.

At the end you will not only be able to correctly guess the predominant signs in a person’s horoscope by looking at her/his face, but also understand thoroughly the psychological traits of each sign, and how these psychological traits are usually reflected on the face of the person.

For instance, you will be able to tell that a person is a Libran from specific physiognomical traits, or evident physical features in his/her face.  You will notice that such a person has the cardinal quality, air element and human species reflected in his/her face.  You will be able to say that the person is an initiator (cardinal) yet in a gentle, suave and polite way (Libra), is quite logical and communicative (air) and is quite refined and gentle in his/her demeanor (human).

An initiator will generally have an elongated face (cardinal face), yet the length starts from below the eyes in a balanced way (Libra), with full cheeks (Libra indicative of sociability and phlegmatic temperament), light pure skin and golden brown to blonde hair (air), with balanced and delicate features (human sign).  The glyph of Libra usually manifests in the eyebrows of the person and will help you to easily identify the person as a Libran.

You will also be able to differentiate between the different types of Libra.  You will be able to tell if this is a logical and balanced Libran (straight eyebrows), or beauty loving Libran (well defined curved eyebrows) or a promiscuous Libran (full upper lips).

About Miyan

Qualifications:  DMA (Diploma in Medieval Astrology), Jyotish Maharishi (PhD equivalent research degree in Vedic Astrology)

Miyan has taken the paths of the East and West in her studies of the science of Light, Jyotisha, or Astrology.  She is an expert and researcher in Western Medieval Astrology and Eastern Vedic astrology.

In 2004 she had started her journey in astrology, studying independently ancient Arabic manuscripts of Abu Ma’ashar al-Balkhi, Masha’alla and al-Biruni, noted astrologers of the Golden Era of Islam, a period that saw the blossoming of scientific and intellectual achievements.  During that time, extending between the 8th and 13th centuries, Baghdad, the capital and the Abbasid Caliphate, had the largest library-translation center of its time known as “Bayt al-Hikma” or House of Wisdom.  Astrology flourished greatly during these times due to the numerous Arabic and Persian translations of Hellenistic astrological texts, many of which may have become extinct and unknown without the preserving translations of the Arabs.  With her enthusiasm provoked, Mai decided to study the art of Predictive Judicial Astrology in particular, the ancient form that gives you concrete predictions.  Therefore, she had taken the Robert Zoller advanced course in Medieval Astrology, otherwise known as traditional Arabic/Persian astrology.

Academically oriented, Miyan’s readings of Golden Era Arabic scholar and astrologer al-Biruni’s travels to India and the astrology of the Indians, she decided to study Vedic Astrology.  She enrolled in AIFAS Jyotisha program in 2005 earning a Maharishi degree (PhD equivalent research degree) in 2011.  She is currently  engaged in teaching, writing and researching in the field of astrology.  She has written a comprehensive dissertation on Astrological Physiognomy, and gives workshops and classes on astrology.
